Sarah Menezes, Mayra Aguiar and Rafael Silva Are Awarded by IJF

The International Judo Federation has awarded $ 10,000 to all the athletes who ended in 2013 as the leaders of the world ranking in the 14 Olympic categories. Among the 14 awarded competitors, there are three Brazilian ones:  Sarah Menezes (48kg), Mayra Aguiar (78kg) and Rafael Silva (+100 kg).

The World Judo Circuit awarded in 2013 more than $ 2 million, including the World Championships from Rio and the World Masters offering the greatest reward of $ 200 thousand, divided among the champions.

The 2014 season of the circuit will kickoff with the first edition of the International Team Challenge, disputed on January 25th between Europe and Asia, in Tyumen.
