IJF Releases the Competition Calendar 2015

The year’s first event will be the Africa Open, held in January. The Grand Slam Paris will be in October.

The International Judo Federation released the international competition calendar on Wednesday, November 12^th. The Africa Open will open the judo year with contests held on 17^th and 18^th January, in Tunis, capital of Tunisia.

The traditional Grand Slam in Paris, which uses to open the calendar in February, will be held on October 17^th and 18^th 2015. The year’s first Grand Slam will be in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, from May 8th to May 10th.

The last world judo championship before the Olympic year, organized in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, will be held from August 24^th to August 30^th. Check out the full schedule 2015 in the attached document.
