Before the Final Round of the World Judo Team Championship, the Flag Is Handed to the Next Host of the Event, Chelyabinsk

During the break between the competitions of the World Judo Team Championships held this Sunday at Maracanãzinho, in was symbolically handed the flag to the next Host of the World Judo Championship 2014. Paulo Wanderley Teixeira, the president of the Brazilian Judo Confederation, handed the flag of the president of International Federation, Marius Vizer, who then handed it to the vice-president of the Chelyabinsk Regional Federation, Dennis Lapotyshkin.

\"We hope to have a great competition in Chelyabinsk, just as we had in Rio” said IJF’s President, Marius Vizer.

The city, located near the Ural Mountains in Russia, near the border with Kazakhstan, will be responsible for hosting the World Judo Championship 2014.
