The Management of the Cadet and Junior Teams Convenes Athletes for the Cadet and Junior Panamerican Championships
The BJC’s Management of the Cadet and Junior Teams announced last Monday, July 6th, the names of the thirty-two athletes who were called to participate in the Panamerican Cadet and Junior Championships, scheduled between July 17th and 21st in San José, capital of Costa Rica. Before the competition, starting from July 14th, the team will gather in Pindamonhangaba, a town from São Paulo. After training in Mangaratiba, the expectations are quite high, even if three of the convened athletes did not participate in Mangaratiba.
“In both categories, Cadet and Junior, we’ve had two great training events: one in Saquarema with athletes from the whole world as well as with the Brazilian Senior Judo Team, and the other was in Mangaratiba with the team that will be competing in Toronto. That is why I believe we will go well prepared to this competition and I am sure we will win medals in all categories.” Marcelo Theotônio said.
