Tawany Silva Wins Gold in the Second Consecutive Stage of the European Cup

Brazil competed this weekend on one more stage of the U21 European Cup, which is part of the fourth stage of the International Tournament organized by BJC. After winning last week ten medals in Liberec, the team stepped again this weekend on Berlin’s podium.

As it happened in the Czech Republic, just a few days ago, Tawany SiIva (44kg) defeated all her opponents and got the title of her extra-light category; Ricardo Santos Junior (66kg) was another athlete who repeated last week’s performance and won one more silver medal. Besides these two, Gabriela Chibana (48kg), Jéssica Pereira (52kg), Flávia Gomes (57kg), Sibilla Faccholli (+78 k) and Vitor Torrente (55kg) were awarded bronze at the event.

You can check the keys of the competition in the attached document at the post’s end.

After this competition, our athletes will stay in Berlin and participate in training camps with other judokas who have taken part in this judo competition.
