Professor Amadeu Moura Teaches Courses in the Caribbean Area at the Invitation of the Pan- American Judo Confederation

The Technical Manager of the High Performance Teams of the Brazilian Judo Confederation, Professor Amadeu Moura, was invited by the Pan-American Confederation to teach a training course in Central America, taking advantage of the \"know how\" from Brazil. Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama and Costa Rica were the countries where the course was held last October. The course was taught to Caribbean judo teachers and broadcast via videoconference to their neighbor counterparts. The topics on the agenda were the initiation, the expertise and the preparation.

“I believe that this course reached successfully its target. We managed to teach the notions that everybody wanted to acquire. I was very happy to see that the judo Caribbean community asked for new future courses and that happened in several countries. I thank the Pan American Confederation for inviting me conducting the course, “Amadeu Moura said.

During the courses, technical details were discussed among the tactical, physical and psychological aspects of preparation. In two out of four-day course, lectures were given, while in the last two ones, the trained teachers went to the mats for practical classes.
