The cadet team will compete on Sunday and the junior one on Monday, 20th, in Costa Rica.

President Paulo Wanderley Is Visiting the Cadet and Junior Athletes in San Jose before the Panamerican Cadet and Junior Championships

The Brazilian Cadet and Junior Teams have an important mission ahead in  San Jose, capital of Costa Rica: the Pan American Championship 2015, the largest continental competition in both classes.

On Saturday 18th, they were visited and supported by the president of the Brazilian Judo Confederation, Paulo Wanderley Teixeira. The leader, who has just come back from Toronto where he watched the senior judokas competing in the Panamerican Games, will also watch on-site the performance of the younger athletes.

The fights of the cadet team will take place on Sunday, 19th, while the juniors go to the mat on Monday, July 20th. This will be the cadets’ last test competition before the World Championships from Sarajevo, which will be taking place from August 5th to August 10th in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The competition will start on Sunday at 13h30 (Brasília time) and on Monday, at 13h00 (Brasília time).
