Grand Slam in Tokyo will have 417 judokas
The Grand Slam in Tokyo, last event of the 2009 season of the International Judo Federation, will also be one of the biggest tournaments of the year. With 417 judokas, the competition has confirmed that all the big shots of judo like France, Holland, South Korea, Russia, Brazil and the host Japan will be there. In total 45 nations will dispute the Tokyo Grand Slam.

Brazil will be represented by 18 judokas: Felipe Kitadai (-60kg), Leandro Cunha (-66kg), Leandro Guilheiro (-81kg), Hugo Pessanha (-90kg), Luciano Corrêa (-100kg), Leonardo Leite (-100kg), Walter Santos (+100kg), Sarah Menezes (-48kg), Erika Miranda (-52kg), Raquel Silva (-52kg), Ketleyn Quadros (-57kg), Danielli Yuri (-63kg), Mariana Silva (-63kg), Mayra Aguiar (-78kg) and Maria Suellen (+78kg).
