Brazil Is Champion in the Team Competition of the UK Student Games
The Brazilian Team composed of Larissa Farias (48kg, Judo Rocha / MS), Erika Ferreira (63kg, Revarte / CE), Isadora Pereira (+70 kg, Minas Tenis Clube / MG), Ariel Alencar (60kg, Harai Goshi / GO), Luis Nogueira Filho (73kg, Madre Celeste / PA) and Guilherme Melo (+90 kg, Minas Tenis Clube / MG), reached the highest place of the podium in the team judo competition in the UK Student Games held in Sheffield.
Thus, the Brazilian delegation - composed of six athletes and the coach Douglas Potrich – comes back to its country, bringing six individual medals-four gold, a silver and a bronze - and one more gold won in the team contest.
