Brazil and Japan Strengthen Their Relations

Two important world judo schools (which will host the next two Olympic Games), Brazil and Japan, are closer than ever. With a well-developed technical exchange, the countries are seeking further development. After the Grand Slam from Tokyo, BJC’s and Kodokan’s representatives meet in order to talk about future activities.

Sandro Teixeira, the administrator of the Brazilian Judo Confederation, on behalf of President Paulo Wanderley Teixeira, was received by Haruki Uemura, Kodokan\'s President, and Shinro Fujita, Kodokan’s international director, together with the managers Odair Borges (member of the BJC’s National Council of Degrees), President Danys Queiroz (from Piauí) and President Fernando Moimaz (from Mato Grosso). The translation of the meeting was conducted by Morihiro Shiroma.

\"We were pleased with Japan’s feedback and with the strengthening of our relations because it will bring many advantages to the Brazilian judo\", Sandro Texeira said.
