David Moura Takes Part in a Social Event in Cuiabá
The martial arts were the theme of the ninth edition of Sport and Citizenship
The athlete of the Brazilian judo male team, David Moura (+100 kg, Kodokan Cuiabá / MT ) , took part in the Sport and Citizenship event from Cuiabá – MT, last Saturday ( 26/10 ). The event, the result of a partnership between the SESI and Globo Network, was held at the Industry Federation from Mato Grosso (FIEMT System) and had free entry to the community residents and promoted the sports practice and preventive health actions.
The martial arts were the theme of the ninth edition of the event, such as judo , karate , jiu - jitsu , muay thay , taekwondo , hapkido , kung fu and tae box .
“Participating in a project that stimulates the sports practice is very good because it is an excellent opportunity to show a bit of judo and the experience I have to everyone, which is, for me, a matter of life,\" said the athlete from the top 10 of the world rankings of the heavyweight category.
