Under-20 and Under-17 team finish third at the Challenge in Germany
The Brazilian Under-17 and Under-20 teams are in Germany, where they have disputed the International Challenge against Japan, Kazakhstan and Germany. The new generation of judokas finished in third place, after defeating Kazakhstan by 6 confronts to 3.

The friendly competition was disputed by mixed teams. In the first round each team performed with 14 athletes and the final score was 9 to 3 to Germany. On the next draw, Japan defeated Kazakhstan by 12 to 0.

With these results, the Brazilian team finished its activities in Bad Blankemburg. This Wednesday the group will follow to the second part of the trip. The Under-20 athletes, boys and girls, will go to Coimbra/POR, to take part in another International Tournament and Training Camp.

Meanwhile, all the athletes of the under-17 team will go to Kaiserslautern, in Germany. The team will take part in training sessions in the city and in Speyer and Rüsselssheim. On Saturday they dispute a regional competition in the city of Daun.
