The Keys to GP Ulaanbaatar Have Been Drawn
The Keys to GP Ulaanbaatar Have Been Drawn. The competition will start tomorrow, July 4th, and will run until Sunday, July 6th. The competition is disputed by 284 athletes, 165 men and 119 women coming from 27 countries. Mongolia has the largest team, composed of 54 judokas - 26 men and 28 women. South Korea and China come close behind with 25 each, followed by Germany with 16 competitors. Brazil will be represented by eight athletes, four men and four women.
The Brazilian athlete who is competing tomorrow is Eric Takabatake (60kg). On Saturday it's the turn of Bruno Mendonça (73kg), Mariana Silva (63kg), Maria Portela (70kg) and Nadia Merli (70kg). Rafael Buzacarini (100kg), David Moura (+100 kg) and Claudirene Cezar (+78 kg) fight on Sunday.
