The Couch of the Brazilian Judo Team, Yuko Fujii, Teaches Judo Classes to Athletes from Minas
The coach Yuko Fujii, hired by the Brazilian Judo Confederation (BJC) in partnership with the Brazilian Olympic Committee, in order to help Brazil discover talents during the Olympic cycle Rio 2016, is teaching this week judo classes to athletes from Minas Gerais. The couch is holding some activities involving athletes, coaches and instructors working for the team from Minas, which is one of the projects of the technical committee. The Japanese who worked for the British team in the last Olympic cycle stays in Minas until Saturday (2/11).
“She can help our work with her valuable knowledge and techniques. The athletes will listen to our advice and develop new moves, since Yuko is going to be with them for almost a week. Additionally, she will work with all weight categories and will talk to us, as coaches “said the coach of the Team from Minas, Floriano de Almeida.
Schedule of the coaching classes taught by Yuko Fujii
Thursday - 31/10
8 am to 9 am: Training with the Male Team from Belo Dente / Minas (-81 , -90 , -100 and +100 kg ).
10 am to 11 am: Judo lesson for beginners (6-8 year-old children).
4.30 pm to 5.30: Training with the Female Team from Belo Dente / Minas.
Friday - 01/11
9 am to 10am: Judo lesson for advanced level (9-13 year-old children).
Saturday - 02/11
8 am to 12 pm: Coaching Seminar for FMJ (coaches from associations affiliated to FMJ) .
Afternoon: Coming back to Rio de Janeiro.
