Ten judokas from the senior team will be training judo for twelve days on the Judo’s land

The Brazilian Men's Team Goes to Tokyo for a Training Camp

The men's team of the Brazilian senior selection landed on Monday, 04th, in Tokyo, Japan, for a twelve day- period of training. Felipe Kitadai (60kg), Eric Takabatake (60kg), Charles Chibana (66kg), Alex Pombo (73kg), Victor Penalber (81kg), Rafael Macedo (81kg), Tiago Camilo (90kg), Luciano Correa (100kg), Rafael Silva (+ 100kg) and David Moura (+ 100kg) will begin on Tuesday, May 05th, their activities in the traditional training center Ajinomoto National Training Center.

From May 7th, the trainings will be in Taiiku Nippon Daigaku, the sports science university in Japan. From May 11th to May 13th, the Brazilians will be training with the Japanese team and will come back home on May 14th.

On their social networks, some athletes celebrated the opportunity and showed a bit of Tokyo from the balcony of Tokyo Dome Hotel where they are staying. "This is a view from my room. I’ll have a rest from the trip and tomorrow we start the training," the heavyweight David Moura posted on his page  next to a picture of the Japanese city.

Besides the boys, the women's team of Brazil will also train in Japan later this month. A part of the team competes in the Grand Slam of Baku-AZE this weekend and then they go straight to Tokyo on May 11th, coming back only on 22nd.
