Sarah Menezes has already guaranteed at least the silver medal for Brazil at the World Championship Juniors, which started this Thursday in Paris. Sarah won the semi-final against the North-American judoka Katelyn Bouysoou by ippon (immobilization) and will dispute the final combat of the tournament against Japan’s Hiromi Endo.

Raphael Minoru was defeated during the semi-finals by Ilgar Mushkiyev from Azerbaijan and will fight for the bronze medal against Lukasz Kielbasinski from Poland.
