IJF updates world ranking

The International Judo Federation has released this Tuesday the updated workd ranking, after the continental championships in Europe, Americas and Africa. Brazil has 13 judokas on the Top 20 of the list. Champions of the Pan-American in El Salvador, Sarh Menezes (-48kg) and Hugo Pessanha (-90kg) are accompanied by Luciano Corrêa (-100kg) as the best placed on the list, in sixth place. Also a champion of the Pan-American, the Olympic medalist Flávio Canto (-81kg) has gained 15 positions and is now number 14. Another highlight of the Brazilian team is Mayra Aguiar, who was number 24 on the last ranking and has now gained nine positions.
