After the International Challenge, Brazil and Japan Participate in a Training Camp

After the International Challenge, both Brazilian and Japanese teams will stay in São Paulo for a Training Camp, held until  October the 1st in Ibirapuera Park. The Brazilian Junior National Team who will participate in the World Junior Championship held from October 20th -27th in Miami, USA, take part in these training activities as well.

Besides the Japanese athletes Jumpei Morishita (66kg), Ryo Saito (73kg), Yasuhiro Ebi (81kg), Kensei Ikeda (90kg) and Kenta Nishigata (100kg +) and the Brazilians Charles Chibana (66kg), Alex Pombo (73kg), Rafael Macedo (81kg), Eduardo Bettoni (90kg) and Rafael Silva (100kg +), there were other Brazilians called by the High Performance Department managers: Felipe Kitadai (60kg), Diego Santos (60kg), Eric Takabatake (60kg), Allan Kuwabara (60kg), Marcelo Contini (73kg), Gabriel Mendes (73kg), Marcos Seixas (73kg), Henrique Silva (90kg), Luciano Correa (100kg), Renan Nunes (100kg), Walter Santos (100kg +), David Moura (+ 100kg) and Ruan Isquierdo (100kg +).

The Brazilian athletes who will defend Brazil in the World Junior Championship are Luiz Cláudio Lima Junior (55kg), Vitor Carvalho (60kg), Ricardo Santos Junior (66kg), Gabriel Pinheiro (66kg), Lincoln Neves (73kg), Rafael Macedo (81kg ), Eduardo Santos (81kg), Thiago Chiodi (90kg), Gabriel Souza (100kg) and João Cesarino (100kg +). On the other hand, the Brazilian female judokas who will train and compete in the World Championships are: Larissa Farias (44kg), Tawany Silva (48kg), Jessica Pereira (52kg), Tamires Crude Silva (57kg), Flavia Gomes (57kg), Danielle Karla Oliveira (63kg), Mariana Veiga (70kg), Sibilla Faccholli (78kg +) and Camila Gebara (78kg +).

The training will be held in two periods - from 10 am to noon and  from 5 pm to 7 pm - on the old premises Futuro Project, in Ibirapuera Park.
