Zempo is Given Emphasis in the Pan-American and South-American Cadet and Junior Championships

Everybody knows that Brazil shone on the mats during the Pan-American and South-American Cadet and Junior Championships. But there is more than that! The Brazilian performance outside the mat was also highly appreciated. For the first time, Zempo, the system developed by BJC and freely available to all federations, was used in a competition outside our country’s borders and its presence was outstanding. The system has been highly praised by many coaches and officials attending the event, especially the parts that refer to the easy access to fights’ order, one of the biggest issues in great events such as continental tournaments.

\"As we work in Rio Grande do Sul, we have a gym in Santana do Livramento, we are already used to exploring the Zempo. We have already accessed it for interstate tournaments but we have never used it on tablet. It is very important for us to quickly see the competition order and the summaries. It is a great tool and we use it mainly for organizing the athletes, “said Julio Cuello, Uruguay’s coach.

\"The system is very good! You need to have indeed a proper device to access the information, but it is very practical. You don’t need to go elsewhere to look at the summaries, fights orders or any other information. I have everything immediately at hand! It is really good. “said Maria Martinez, Peru’s coach.

Besides providing remote access to all National Teams’ coaches, two television sets were made available so that everyone, even those who do not have smartphones nor tablets, could see the fights orders. The operation was led by Robnelson Ferreira, who is the National Technical and Events Director as well as the Technical Director of the South-American Confederation. He was joined by his team, composed of Marson Albani, Thiara Bertoli and André Rodrigues.
