The Judo Is One of the Sports Coined on the Currency Specially Issued for the Olympic Games Rio 2016
According to the project approved by the National Monetary Council, the first models will start to circulate from August
The judo is one of the 16 different sports celebrated on the commemorative coins of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Rio 2016, developed by the Central Bank, House of Coin and supported by the Organizing Committee of the Games. According to the project approved by the National Monetary Council, there will be 36 coins: 4 golds, 16 silvers and 16 bimetallic, as the coin worth 1 Real which is circulating today. The dates of launching the models are this year’s August, February 2015, August 2015 and February 2016. On each occasion, four common coins (the bimetallic ones), four golds and one gold will start circulating.
