The Brazilian hegemony in the cadet and junior categories was confirmed once again this Saturday, 19/10, in Santiago, capital of Chile. The dispute of the South American Under 13 and Under ​​15 Championships showed once again the Brazilian domination in this region. The green and yellow delegation was composed of 27 athletes and the country won 27 medals, including 25 gold ones, one silver and one bronze. More specifically, the second-placed was Argentina, which won just four gold awards, despite winning more medals than Brazil: 29 in a 35 athlete- delegation. The other gold medals were won by Uruguay (2) and Chile (1).
