Brazil Dominates the South American Under 13 and Under 15 Championships and Wins 25 Gold Medals from 32 Possible Awards
All the Brazilian athletes reached the podium. Argentina was second placed with 4 gold medals.
The Brazilian hegemony in the cadet and junior categories was confirmed once again this Saturday, 19/10, in Santiago, capital of Chile. The dispute of the South American Under 13 and Under 15 Championships showed once again the Brazilian domination in this region. The green and yellow delegation was composed of 27 athletes and the country won 27 medals, including 25 gold ones, one silver and one bronze. More specifically, the second-placed was Argentina, which won just four gold awards, despite winning more medals than Brazil: 29 in a 35 athlete- delegation. The other gold medals were won by Uruguay (2) and Chile (1).
