BJC launches registration system

BJC launches registration system
The Brazilian Judo Confederation (BJC) has launched this week a new registration system for judokas from all around the country. The system, called Hajime, will be fully active in about two months. During the first phase of activity, the registration will be exclusive for clubs/academies, which will then register their athletes.

The identification card will be necessary to take part in every national competition, starting with the events of the youth categories. With the card it will be possible to confirm their participation in an event, accreditation and weighing schedule, all because of a specific number of each member.

The new identification document will have stamps that correspond to the level of the judoka. The card will be issued by BJC and sent directly to the athlete. The stamps will be changed by the federation according to their promotion.

“A module defined as control of practice, inside the system, will define the time of each grade, indicating to the professor the correct period to apply the exams to change grade”, said Fábio Vasconcelos, responsible for the information technology sector of the Brazilian Judo Confederation.
